Escenic Selects Tallence to be "Preferred Consulting Partner"

Now it is official:  At the end of last year Tallence and Escenic revealed their partnership. During the event "Axel Springer and Escenic – How to Build State-of-the-Art Online Solutions" on November 30, 2007 at Axel Springer in Berlin, Escenic introduced Tallence as Escenic’s "Preferred Consulting Partner" for the german market.

Founded in 1999 in Oslo, Norway, Escenic provides online content management systems for European media firms. The Escenic Content System is a comprehensive solution for online publishing that has been specially developed for media companies who maintain highly dynamic news websites, and who continually create new sites and other digital content. It is currently in use at more than 400 internet sites in 14 countries, among them some of the largest and most visited news websites in Europe: “Welt” in Germany; “The Times”, “The Sun”, and “The Independent” in Great Britain; “De Telegraaf”, “PCM”, and “Wegener” in the Netherlands; “Politiken” and “Jyllands-Posten” in Denmark; and “Aftenposten” and “IDG” in Norway.

Escenic offers four collaboration models: Associated partner, Technology partner, Consulting partner and Reseller partner.

Tallence is Escenic's preferred consulting partner in Germany. "Escenic has teamed up with Tallence for the German market because the two companies have a strong fit both commercially and technically. Tallence has an excellent track record with delivery of high-load web solutions and thereby an excellent match with Escenic's requirements for consulting partners: Core competence in Java development, 'high load' portal focus, and good experience with implementation of web products" says Richard Roness, Escenic Partner Manager.

Tallence and Escenic have also decided to strengthen the offering to German based clients with an extended local support service, offering clients expert help in German language. This will help German based Escenic clients to set up their in-house Escenic competence and to ensure a smooth transfer to the maintenance phase with the new Escenic platform.
