Telekom Austria, official telecommunication provider for UEFA EURO 2008TM, is launching a web presence of its own for the European Soccer Championship at www.aon.at. A large part of this area was built by Tallence.
Supporters of soccer will find current and exclusive information about the UEFA EURO 2008TM (such as a live news ticker, photos, participating teams, and championship venues). A separate fan zone has been created for competitions, games and contests. Visitors of the site can also create their own content by uploading, commenting and forwarding videos and pictures. Tallence has implemented a picture and video gallery which offers all the necessary services. A comprehensive Service Zone including products and services from Telekom Austria rounds out the offering.
Telekom Austria as national sponsor is organising the technical structure of the European Soccer Championship. The portfolio includes the linking-up of venues, the information and communication technology of the stadiums, player hotels, and the UEFA headquarters. In addition, Telekom Austria is providing the telecommunication equipment for the press centre and a powerful communication connection to the event’s partner country, Switzerland.
